Handpan Immersion
The silence of the desert.
SEDONA, ARIZONA · OCTOBER 15 - 18 · 2026
An immersive musical experience
Four days of rhythm, listening, movement and musical expression
in the landscapes of Sedona.
A space to reconnect with sound, silence and creativity
through the handpan and the body.
Who is this experience for?
This experience is designed for people who have already begun their journey with the handpan and feel the need to go deeper — from a more honest, organic and personal place.
It is not about achieving perfection or reaching a specific level.
It is about reconnecting with rhythm, listening, creativity and presence.
Some participants come from a musical background.
Others arrive with no formal training at all.
What matters is curiosity, openness and the willingness to explore sound as a form of expression, connection and inner movement.
You do not need to be an advanced player.
You only need to be willing to listen.
A deeper way of listening
These days unfold through music, nature, shared moments and space to simply slow down.
The immersion invites a more intuitive and relaxed relationship with sound — one where creativity, confidence and expression can emerge naturally.
The handpan becomes less about performance, and more about connection, curiosity and presence.
What these days feel like
Not a retreat from life.
A deeper way of being inside it.
Days shaped by music, nature and meaningful human connection.

Meet the person behind it all
Miguel Hiroshi is a musician, composer and educator whose work has taken him across more than 60 countries, sharing music and immersive experiences with people from many different cultures and backgrounds.
Born in Japan and raised in the mountains of southern Spain, his work is rooted in a sophisticated rhythmic approach that blends deep listening, emotional expression and influences from flamenco, Indian traditions, jazz and world music.
As a multi-instrumentalist, Miguel has spent years exploring rhythm and sound through many instruments and traditions. Over time, the handpan became more than an instrument in his life — it became a doorway into creativity, presence and human connection.
His teaching is not centered around perfection or performance, but around helping people reconnect with their own musicality in an honest and natural way.
